Wanted: Quality of Life Co-Creator (Cleaning person/ Personal Assistant/ Professional nurturer) I have a vision and I need a very special person to support me in achieving it.   I am looking for someone to support me in having a beautiful, clean, orderly home and home life as I take on the delights of build my future and joyfully living my life.

Who you are:  You are a gentle, caring person with an eye for detail, impeccable integrity and you know how to tidy-up and get things clean.  You have no issue with cleaning out the refrigerator, making a bed, or making a pot of coffee.  You may have some other talents you want to bring to the table – let’s talk about them.  Know how to sew on a button? Fabulous! Do you have some office skills? That may come in handy too!

What you will do:

• Look through the house and straiten up what needs to be straitened

• Wipe down counters when needed

• Clean a dish or two in the sink or load or unload the dishwasher

• Laundry – wash , dry, fold and put away

• On occasion make coffee

• Some Ironing

• Remove cat hair from furniture, window coverings etc.

• Check in the phone book to find the best places to go for karaoke

• Run to the grocery store to pick up something for dinner

• Organize something ( a closet, a drawer)

• Anything ( within reason) to make our home clean, tidy, organized and pleasant.

The arrangement:

What I envision is that you live close and you can come by on a daily basis for 1 hour each day of the week (mon – fri). You would come by at a prescheduled time and tidy-up or clean or help for the hour and then go about your day and then come back and do the same the next day.   If you or someone you know is interested in this opportunity please call Joelle at 216 320 9298.  I cannot wait to hear from you! Talk to you soon!

Hi! everyone,

I created this job decription from a vision of what I saw as the ideal support for creating my life right now.  When I was in Arizona, I put a similar call out for a personal chef.  Enter Lori! My frugle, master chef of an angel! Lori would not only cook for me but she would bring my cats treats and make me homemade salsa on a whim and to top it off, when she went grocery shopping, she was so good at stretching my dollar, I swear that I actually paid less to eat with her cooking for me than when I was out shopping and cooking for myself. I am on the search for my quality of life co-creator, and I invite you to explore, what is the help that would lighten the load and powerfully support you in your life? What would be that special job description that would perfectly serve your needs, and where might you begin to look for this special person.  A Bookkeeper, a cleaning person, a nanny, a coach, personal trainer,  professional  dog walker or perhaps there is no name for what you need yet, make it up!

If you are so inclined, I invite you to post your job opening on this blog.  The sky is the limit, so be creative! DEclaring what you want and need is step 1. in having a life that delights and inspires you.

To your life!

As I was getting ready to send out the first Livloud! Newsletter I was contemplating what brilliant insight or life-transforming information I would be compelled to share with you in this first issue.  How could we kick things off with a BANG and really make a big impact?!  After jotting down 145 topics that could possibly be in this spot it dawned on me that perhaps, we should discuss the concept of living loud.  What is it? And why does it matter? And what could living loud mean for your life?

Living “Loud” is a bit of a misnomer as it seems to imply an in-your-face-ness, perhaps somewhat of a garishness and certainly a “loud”-ness.  In fact, living loud does not have to be loud at all. When we talk about living loud at Coach Joelle, Inc. we are talking about you living as “all you, all the time!”

That’s right!  Living loud is having all of you showing up in all areas of your life all of the time.  Living loud means living as a full-out, glorious version of yourself! Not the watered- down version of what is “appropriate” or the slightly adjusted version of what you think you should be or the stifled version of what someone else expects you to be. I am talking YOU, full-out, loving life, showing-up, happy, fulfilled and joyful… this is Living loud.

Every person’s version of living loud is unique, and certainly not all of them will be loud.  In fact, there may be people out there who are really quiet souls who have been being boisterous or assertive because they think it is what is necessary. For this person living loud might be owning that they are really gentle and that there is a way to make their way in the world without trying to be something that is not their essence. For another living loud might mean standing up for themselves and speaking their truth where they have been holding back and hiding out.

Here are some examples of what living loud might look like:

- Being able to confidently and comfortably speak your truth even if it may not be the popular opinion.
- Being able to walk into any situation and feel comfortable just being you.
- Feeling comfortable in your skin
- Liking and appreciating who you are as a human being.
- Trusting yourself enough to not have to rehearse conversations 40 times before having them because you know that what comes out will be just right.
- Living loud is knowing the dreams you have been given have been given to you for a reason, they are within your reach and an inevitable reality if you choose them
- Living loud is dancing in life to your own music
- It is being the star in your own reality show
- It is living a life that delights and inspires you at every turn
- It is being you and all that being you brings to the world

Interested?

Already doing it?

All good!

I can tell you I have spent a lifetime figuring out how to Livloud in my own life and my mission today is to bring this gift to others. It comes down to a couple of key elements, which I will share with you here:

How to live loud:

Step 1) Know thy self  (Socrates)

Step 2) To thine own-self be true (William Shakespeare)

Yep. Not exactly original, but pretty darn profound and it applies here.  The more you know and understand yourself the more power you have to create your life your way and once you know what you are going after you can measure each step, each action and thought against what you have chose for your life.

Know Thy self: Know what you like, what you want and what you would choose for your life.

Without knowing what you want in your life and consciously going after it, what is left is living by default, letting life show up in front of you and then deciding whether you like it or not.  Why not look three steps ahead and ask yourself…

- What do I really want from life?
- If I could choose, what would I have out my window?
- What are the characteristics of the people I would like to have in my life?
- What kind of relationship would I like to have with my partner?
- What kind of partner would I like to have?
- If I could live my days as the very best version of myself what would that version be?
- If I could have days filled with joy and delight what are the things, places, activities, and people that would support that?

Ladies and gentlemen, now is your time. Are you ready to live loud? Are you willing to take on having a life that delights and inspires you? This is the real deal here. I am not speaking idly and I am not talking fluff. I am talking about your life, the one you have imagined, the life that is waiting for you.

I invite you to declare today what you are ready to have in your life, right here, right now!  What are you willing to have in your life and what is one thing can you do this week to begin to make it real in your life.  You do not have to have all the answers; today just start by asking the questions… this is where creation begins.

What are you willing to have in your life that would inspire and delight you?

What are you willing to do in the next 7 days to begin to make this real for you?

I invite you to share your declaration and action in this blog.

“In the beginning was the Word”… your words are the beginning to creating your world your way.  Are you ready to live loud?

With Love,

Coach Joelle

Musings on Labor Day

September 4, 2006

I woke this morning of my own accord.

Climbing out of bed, I knew it was 8:00 even before I opened my eyes.. ahhh, how lovely to wake up in your own time.  I threw on my fuzzy robe and headed to the patio.  Lucky (the cat) burst through the door with me to be out in the morning air while Linguine happily remained in her spot on the stereo equipment warming her belly. It seems that without even noticing, the first hint of fall has arrived, and belly warming and snuggling have become favorite pass times for cat and human. I settle in on the love seat with my feet up and quietly call Lucky.  Without a second thought she is curled up in my arms, head on my shoulder gently kneading my robe as I pet her silky fur.

It is quiet this morning.  There is a high grey that allows for light but does not allow the energy of the sun to come through. The streets are quiet, and all I can hear is the soft trill of the cicadas in the trees.   In the late summer they sing in chorus, their vibrant song growing and then fading out in one direction before taking up in another set of trees. Singing a round of sorts, they pass the sound from one side of the street to the other;  But today, it seems they are not singing full-out, but instead, warming up from every corner, like the string section at the orchestra while everyone is taking their seats.

Petting lucky and looking at her gentle face, eyes closed pushing up against my hand to get the full experience of each stroke, I have a moment’s remembrance of how she was brought into my life when I was single and homesick.  We met at the pound in Arizona, she was one year old and the oddest looking cat I had ever seen.  As I reached into her cage she climbed into my arms without hesitation, looked up and started licking my chin. It was done. She came home with me, and today she shares her gentle love with my husband and anyone else who will allow the mothering of this furry angel.

A perfect morning for a walk, I trade in my robe for my favorite yoga pants and a fleece sweatshirt and head out into the neighborhood. We live in an incredible area in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where the houses are old and grand and many of them are set back into the forest.  There is even a home with a stream running though it. Now that’s living.  Ahhh.

I always love to walk down to the little red brick road that runs between the streets. It is a magical place like no neighborhood I have ever experienced and I am grateful to have this nature and character right outside my door.  I notice the bountiful maple trees, soon to be changing colors before they grow barren and quiet for the winter. I remember my dad brought me home a maple leaf once. It was so precious that he had it laminated.  I am pretty sure I still have it somewhere.  Growing up in the Canadian north, while the maple leaf was our national symbol, it was not something we ever saw in nature.  To me, it had a significance and a rarity and so, I find it so intriguing to have them hanging off every tree.  It somehow makes me feel closer to my roots and tied to my past… in a nice way.

I am home now. It’s time for breakfast, a steaming cup of decaf and then a day of creation.  I am grateful for the day. Thank you for being a space for me to share. Have a beautiful labor day.

Sending love.

Joelle
